The Act of Benchmarking

“To maximise Growth, design Strategies”

The purpose of benchmarking is to measure the effectiveness across a sequence of events of an individual or a business' performance against established indicators. Effective benchmarking follows the principles of 'identify/ apply/ measure/ reflect/ amend/ repeat'

Whilst typically used in the business environment, benchmarking or goal setting is imperative to assist the development, clarity and peaceful realisation of a persons behaviour.

In order to achieve anything, it is imperative to include:

  • a clear, concise and relevant documented description of activities

  • simple to understand, clearly defined steps, measurable, meaningful, aligned with values/ purpose/ lifestyle and business pursuits

  • regular communication, acknowledgement, assistance, clarification, encouragement, motivation and professional acuity
